How to switch from Vera to Homey

Homey vs. Vera
Homey and Vera are both smart home systems available in Europe. But what are the differences and similarities? The compatibility comparison between Homey and Vera is easy: Homey features core connectivity options such as 433MHz (Somfy, DIO, Nexa…) and infrared that Vera doesn’t have. On the same supported technologies, Homey boasts extended device support and better interfaces for those devices.
Vera has a slightly more extended PC interface than Homey does. However, this interface is slow and not very user-friendly. Homey puts all this functionality – and more – in its mobile app. This makes it a lot easier to add or change devices on the fly. 1. Buy your Homey or Homey Pro via our store between January 22, 2020 and March 31, 2020.
2. Send your old Vera Edge, Plus or Secure back to us with a copy of your Homey purchase receipt within two weeks of your order.
