Flow

Everything connected your way

Automate your home

With Flow, you decide how your devices work together to automate your home. Everyone can set up Flows. For example, you can connect a door sensor to your lights - to make sure that you'll always come home to an illuminated home.

This Flow starts When the door sensor changes.

Then the lights in the Living Room will be turned on.

By adding an And card you can make sure that this Flow only happens when it is after sunset.

Apps

Apps are the link between Homey and your devices. Apps understand both languages - your device's and Homey's. This way, apps empower you to use product features in the way you imagine. The more you add, the more possibilities.

Tags

Simple, right? But there’s more to it.
With Tags, you can use variables from previous cards or from other devices connected to Homey. This means that you could for example add the name of a specific user, the temperature or data as variable values to create unique Flows.

Say
Weather
Sunrise
Everyone home
Name
Date
Temperature

Or else...

Adding an 'else…'-card tells your Flow that something else needs to be activated if the value of the previous card is false. For example, if it is before sunset you might want your lights to have a 20% intensity. However, if it gets darker after sunset, you might want to set the intensity to 80%.
