Adds ability to save and restore device states of a zone.
homey:manager:api (required for controlling all devices on behalf of the user)
Currently Supported Device Classes
- light (virtual lights included)
This app enables you to save the capability states of devices in a zone (including their subzones).
Only values of capabilities, which can be get AND set by the user, will be stored.
Advanced settings are not saved or restored.
The data is stored on Homey and persistent. You can delete unwanted datasets from the app settings dialog.
This app adds action flowcards only. (No device adding required)
- Save State of Devices in Zone (Supports lights only at the moment)
- Restore State of Devices in Zone
- Save State of a Devices (Supports all devices having user changeable capabilities)
- Restore State of a Device
On restore you can choose the behavior for the On/Off capability: Set On, Set Off, Ignore, As Stored or mapped to the Zone's current active state.
Also please bear in mind that the zones operation is expensive. The time, required by the save procedure, depends on the overall amount of devices you have paired to Homey.
You should add a delay of a second (maybe more if you have really a lot of devices) to any following actions changing the devices state, which you are storing.
Please visit the Zone Memory topic on the Athom Community Forum for more information. Click on Visit Forum >> under Community in the app info block below.
