This app enables you to save the capability states of devices or a complete zone (including their subzones).
Only values of capabilities, which can be get AND set by the user, will be stored.
Advanced settings are not saved or restored.
The datasets are stored as file on Homey so they even survive a reboot.
You can inspect stored data or delete unwanted datasets from the app settings dialog.
- Save State of Devices in Zone (Supports all device classes known by Homey as of 2020-06-14)
- Restore State of Devices in Zone
- Save State of a Device
- Restore State of a Device
- A specific dataset has finished restoring
- A dataset has finished restoring
- A specific dataset has finished saving
- A dataset has finished saving
On restore you can choose the behavior for the On/Off capability: Set On, Set Off, Ignore, As Stored or mapped to the Zone's current active state.
Additionally you can optionally ignore named capabilities on restore and set up a command rate if you have command quota problems with certain devices.
Also please bear in mind that the zones operation is expensive. The time, required by the save procedure, depends on the overall amount of devices you have paired to Homey.
You should add a delay of a second (maybe more if you have really a lot of devices) to any following actions changing the devices state, which you are storing.
Alternatively you can now chain flows with the trigger cards. So you can safely continue your tasks after the save or restore operation has completed.
