Homey now officially supports Tuya! 🎉 Tuya is the foundation for many well-known smart home brands, including Calex, Lidl, Action, LSC, and more. Therefore, you can now effortlessly connect thousands of additional brands to Homey & Homey Pro, enhancing your smart home experience.
Why this is a big deal
Tuya Smart is a global IoT platform allowing manufacturers to convert traditional products into smart devices. It supports over 500 types of devices across various categories, including home appliances, lighting, and security systems.
Tuya is present in over 200 countries and regions, making it one of the most widely used IoT platforms. Its white-label solutions allow businesses to brand their smart devices, and its Smart Life app offers an interface for managing them.
Connecting devices
The Tuya App for Homey is compatible with the Tuya Smart and Smart Life app for iOS and Android. Before connecting your Tuya devices to Homey, link them to one of these apps first. We have documented the necessary steps in our Knowledge Base to get you up and running.
Teaming up
