Fast, reliable, and built for low-power LED controllers. Overview iPixelLED turns a supported Bluetooth LED matrix into a Homey-controlled display. Use Homey flows or action cards to send transient notifications, save short text “apps” to display slots, force-clear screens, or display a persistent (sticky) message that hides the clock until you clear it manually. The app focuses on a robust BLE-only workflow: on/off, dimming and deterministic text rendering with reliable retry/queueing for flaky connections. Key features - Send notifications and advanced messages (color, animation, speed, font & offsets). - Sticky notifications: clear current apps, optionally hide the clock, and keep a persistent message until manually cleared. - Save text apps to numbered display slots and restore them from the device store. - Automatic retrying: failed writes are enqueued and retried automatically so updates don’t get lost. - Clock display: the app can render HH:MM every minute into a dedicated slot. - Brightness persistence: dim level stored and restored on startup. - BLE-first: connects directly over Bluetooth with a cached-preferred-advertisement strategy to reduce rediscovery time. - Localized flow cards (multi-language support) for easy integration in Homey flows. Privacy & security All operations run locally between Homey and the device. No user text or device packets are transmitted to third-party servers by the app. The app stores small device settings (saved app text and brightness) locally on the Homey device.
