Panasonic Aquarea via HeishaMon

Control and monitor your Panasonic Aquarea heat pump locally, through a HeishaMon gateway on the CN-CNT bus. No cloud account, no polling delay, no rate limits. Readings arrive over MQTT the moment they change, and the app requests no permissions. WHAT YOU GET Heat pump: on/off, operating mode, zone setpoint, room and water temperatures, outside temperature, Eco and Boost as single-tap toggles that cannot both be active, defrost state, 3-way valve position and error code. Hot water: a separate thermostat device for the tank with its own setpoint, tank temperature, forced cycle and sterilization. Only offered when your heat pump actually reports a tank. Energy and efficiency: lifetime and daily kWh in and out, live COP, and an energy-weighted COP for today and yesterday. That is the figure that tells you how the system really performed, rather than the instantaneous number that swings wildly within one compressor cycle. Electricity use shows up in Homey Energy. Fractional setpoints: the Aquarea only accepts whole degrees, and one degree of flow temperature is worth roughly 2-2.5% efficiency. The app alternates between the two neighbouring whole degrees on a duty cycle, so the average water temperature lands on tenths of a degree. Optional, off by default. Adaptive weather compensation: a slow control loop that holds your room temperature using the lowest water temperature that still does the job. Feed it any Homey temperature sensor with one Flow. Over weeks it also learns whether the slope of your heating curve is wrong and tells you, leaving the decision to apply it to you. Optional, off by default. Configuration: heating curves for both zones, deltas and cut-off temperatures are read live from the heat pump and can be written back, behind a safety switch that is off by default. 39 Flow cards, including a card that can send any documented HeishaMon command with range checking. WHAT YOU NEED A HeishaMon gateway connected to the CN-CNT connector of the indoor unit, and an MQTT broker on your network. The MQTT Broker app from the Homey App Store works fine, as does Mosquitto on a NAS or Raspberry Pi. The MQTT client itself is built into this app, so the MQTT Client app is not needed.
