Homey is now available in ChatGPT
When we introduced the Homey MCP Server earlier this year, connecting ChatGPT to Homey still required a few manual steps.
That changes today. Homey is now available directly in ChatGPT, so you can connect your Homey account with one click and start using it with your smart home.

What’s new
Under the hood, it uses the same Homey MCP Server as before, with more capabilities added along the way. You can still check device status, control devices, start Flows and Advanced Flows, and set Moods.
Now, ChatGPT can also help you rename devices, move them to another zone, create and update Flows, work with Advanced Flows, and browse available Flow trigger, condition, and action cards.
Using MCP directly?
The Homey MCP Server remains available at https://mcp.athom.com for Claude and other AI agents that support MCP. If you already connected Homey manually, nothing changes.
