When...

Dish
The power changed
Dish
The alignment error rises above °°
i
The angle between where the dish points and where it would like to point. A large gap means the dish should be moved.
Dish
The latency rises above ms ms
Dish
Sky obstruction rises above % %
i
The share of the sky hidden by trees, roofs or masts, as the dish measured it over time.
Dish
The download speed drops below Mb/s Mb/s
i
Measured traffic, not a speed test: it falls to nearly zero when nobody is using the line.
Dish
The dish state changes
i
Booting, stowed, obstructed, searching the sky, thermal shutdown, and so on.
Dish
An outage started
i
Seen by the dish status at a reading. An outage shorter than the refresh interval may only be reported when it ends.
Dish
An outage of at least s s ended
i
Taken from the dish's own outage log, so even very short outages are seen. Use the minimum duration to ignore them.
Dish
The 24 h availability drops below % %
i
Share of the last 24 hours without an outage, out of the time the app could observe.
Dish
The dish raised an alert
i
Thermal throttling, stuck motors, mast not vertical, slow Ethernet, pending update, and the other alerts the dish reports.
Dish
A dish alert cleared

And...

Dish
The dish is ready
i
All of the dish's start-up steps have completed.
Dish
The dish is misaligned
i
Compared with the threshold set in the device settings.

What’s new

Version 1.1.0 — The app now keeps its own history: availability over 24 hours, 7 and 30 days with outages and their causes, and throughput and latency over a day or a week. A new tile draws the sky seen from above with the obstructions the dish has mapped, and the dish's alerts, such as thermal throttling, stuck motors or slow Ethernet, become alarms and Flow cards. All tiles share a common layout. Newer dishes, which give their serial number only in their status, can be added again: pairing no longer reports them as unreachable.
