Nibe S-Series
An alarm occurred
i
Fires when the heat pump reports a new alarm. Use the alarm description token to see what happened.
Nibe S-Series
Operating priority changed
i
Fires when the heat pump switches what it is producing (hot water, heating, pool, cooling, off). The reason token explains why in plain language — which threshold the pump actually reached, with the numbers behind it.
Nibe S-Series
Register changed
i
Fires when the selected register's value changes. Only registers with a fixed set of modes (operating mode, hot water demand, priority, fan mode) can be picked.
Nibe S-Series
Register turned on
i
Fires when the selected on/off register switches on.
Nibe S-Series
Register turned off
i
Fires when the selected on/off register switches off.

And...

Nibe S-Series
Is turned on
Nibe S-Series
The generic alarm is on
Nibe S-Series
Value of Register is Comparison Value
i
Compares any readable numeric register against a value. Useful for readings that have no card of their own, such as degree minutes or compressor frequency.
Nibe S-Series
Register is enabled
i
Checks any on/off register, picked by name. Prefer the device’s own on/off condition cards — this is the escape hatch.

Nibe S-Series
Operating mode is Mode
i
Operating mode: auto, manual or immersion heater only.
Nibe S-Series
Priority is Mode
i
What the pump is producing right now (heating, hot water, pool…).
Nibe S-Series
Fan mode is Mode
i
Currently active fan mode.

Nibe S-Series
Set the temperature °C
Nibe S-Series
Set the minimum supply temperature to Value
i
Lowest supply temperature the pump may produce (climate system 1). Accepts 5 to 80 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the maximum supply temperature to Value
i
Highest supply temperature the pump may produce (climate system 1). Accepts 5 to 80 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the outdoor temperature that starts cooling to Value
i
Outdoor temperature where automatic mode starts cooling. Accepts -20 to 40 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the outdoor temperature that stops heating to Value
i
Outdoor temperature where automatic mode stops heating. Accepts -20 to 40 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the outdoor temperature that stops the immersion heater to Value
i
Outdoor temperature where automatic mode stops the immersion heater. Accepts -25 to 40 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the heating period time to Value
i
How long the pump makes heating before switching demand. Accepts 0 to 180 minutes.
Nibe S-Series
Set the compressor start degree minutes to Value
i
Degree minutes at which the compressor starts heating. Accepts -1000 to -30 °Cmin.
Nibe S-Series
Set the immersion heater start difference to Value
i
How many degree minutes below the compressor start the immersion heater joins in. Accepts 100 to 2000 °Cmin.
Nibe S-Series
Set the cooling degree minutes to Value
i
Accumulated cooling surplus that decides when cooling starts. Accepts -3000 to 3000 °Cmin.
Nibe S-Series
Set the hot water start temperature (Small) to Value
i
Charging start temperature for the Small demand mode. Accepts 5 to 55 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the hot water stop temperature (Small) to Value
i
Charging stop temperature for the Small demand mode. Accepts 5 to 60 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the hot water start temperature (Large) to Value
i
Charging start temperature for the Large demand mode. Accepts 5 to 70 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the hot water stop temperature (Large) to Value
i
Charging stop temperature for the Large demand mode. Accepts 5 to 70 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the periodic hot water stop temperature to Value
i
Stop temperature for the periodic anti-legionella charge. Reaching it usually needs the immersion heater — a compressor alone tops out in the high 50s. Accepts 55 to 70 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the hot water start temperature to Value
i
Tank temperature where hot water charging starts. Accepts 5 to 60 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the hot water stop temperature to Value
i
Tank temperature where hot water charging stops. Accepts 5 to 65 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the pool period time to Value
i
How long the pump heats the pool before switching demand. Accepts 0 to 180 minutes.
Nibe S-Series
Set the normal fan speed to Value
i
Normal speed of the exhaust air fan. Accepts 0 to 1, where 1 is full speed.
Nibe S-Series
Set the pool start temperature to Value
i
Pool temperature where heating starts. Accepts 10 to 35 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Set the pool stop temperature to Value
i
Pool temperature where heating stops. Accepts 10 to 35 °C.
Nibe S-Series
Reset the alarm
i
Acknowledge and reset an active alarm on the pump.
Nibe S-Series
Set operating mode Mode
i
Operating mode: auto, manual or immersion heater only.
Nibe S-Series
Set price influence on heating to Influence
i
How strongly Smart Price Adaption may move the indoor temperature. 1 is barely, 10 is as much as the pump allows.
Nibe S-Series
Set price influence on hot water to Influence
i
How strongly Smart Price Adaption may shift hot water charging towards cheaper hours. Runs 1 to 4, not 1 to 10 like heating.
Nibe S-Series
Set price influence on pool heating to Influence
i
How strongly Smart Price Adaption may shift pool heating towards cheaper hours. 0 leaves pool heating alone entirely.
Nibe S-Series
Set price influence on cooling to Influence
i
How strongly Smart Price Adaption may shift cooling towards cheaper hours. 0 leaves cooling alone entirely.
Nibe S-Series
More hot water – State
i
More hot water: a one-time 2-hour boost
Nibe S-Series
Night cooling – State
i
Night cooling using the exhaust air fan
Nibe S-Series
Periodic hot water – State
i
Enable the periodic hot water boost
Nibe S-Series
Pool heating – State
i
Enable pool heating
Nibe S-Series
Allow immersion heater – State
i
Allow the electric immersion heater for heating. Hot water has its own separate switch.
Nibe S-Series
Allow heating – State
i
Allow heating operation
Nibe S-Series
Allow cooling – State
i
Allow cooling operation
Nibe S-Series
Allow hot water – State
i
Allow hot water. Off disables all hot water, including the More hot water boost
Nibe S-Series
Set value of Register to Value
i
Writes any writable Modbus register, picked by name. Prefer the named cards ("Set the heat curve to …") — this is the escape hatch for registers that have none. Values outside the register’s range are rejected.
Advanced
Nibe S-Series
Enable Register
i
Switches on any writable on/off register, picked by name. Prefer the device’s own on/off cards — this is the escape hatch.
Advanced
Nibe S-Series
Disable Register
i
Switches off any writable on/off register, picked by name. Prefer the device’s own on/off cards — this is the escape hatch.

What’s new

Version 1.0.1 — Nibe Live reaches 1.0 — the first version published on the Homey App Store. Everything before this was a test release, so if you are already running the app, this is the same app, out of testing. One fix comes with it: when the app explains a finished hot water charge, it now names the temperature that charge was actually aiming for. A "More hot water" boost charges to the Large stop temperature whatever demand mode you have selected, and the periodic charge has a target of its own — so charges that used to look like they overshot, or stopped short, are explained correctly.
