Control LEDVANCE and OSRAM from Homey
Two new official apps bring LEDVANCE SMART+ and OSRAM SMART+ into Homey. SMART+ bulbs, strips, and plugs can now join your Homey setup, so you can control them directly and automate them with Flow.
Two apps, two ranges
LEDVANCE sells lighting under its own name and under the OSRAM Homelighting product brand. That’s why you’ll find two separate apps in the Homey App Store instead of one.
LEDVANCE SMART+ covers bulbs in candle, classic, PAR16, and P40 shapes, plus LED strips, panels, undercabinet lighting, and garden pole lights. It supports plugs and Matter-compatible lights and switches as well. OSRAM SMART+ covers classic and PAR16 multicolor bulbs, LED strips, plugs, and Matter-compatible lights and switches.
What you can do
With Flow and Advanced Flow, you can use your LEDVANCE SMART+ and OSRAM SMART+ devices as triggers and actions. A smart plug can start a Flow when the washing machine finishes, or a garden pole light can turn on at sunset and off when you go to bed.
You can also combine these devices with products from other brands in the same Flow, for example, a LEDVANCE SMART+ bulb and a Philips Hue motion sensor.
Compatibility
You can use the LEDVANCE SMART+ and OSRAM SMART+ apps on Homey Cloud, Homey Pro, Homey Pro mini, and Homey Self-Hosted Server.
- Homey Pro and Homey Pro mini: Zigbee and Matter work out of the box.
- Homey Cloud and Homey Self-Hosted Server: you’ll need a Homey Bridge for Zigbee devices and a Thread Border Router for Matter-over-Thread devices.
- Homey Pro (2016 — 2019): Matter isn't supported, but you can still use Zigbee devices.
Get started
Pairing works the same way as any other Zigbee or Matter device in Homey. Open the Homey Mobile App, head to the Devices tab, and tap New Device. Search for LEDVANCE SMART+ or OSRAM SMART+ and install the one that matches your devices.
