Control LEDVANCE and OSRAM from Homey
With two new official apps, you can connect LEDVANCE SMART+ and OSRAM SMART+ to Homey. Control bulbs, LED strips, and plugs from both ranges directly, or automate them with Flow.
Two apps, two ranges
LEDVANCE sells lighting under its own name and under the OSRAM Homelighting product brand. That’s why you’ll find two separate apps in the Homey App Store instead of one.
LEDVANCE SMART+ covers bulbs in candle, classic, PAR16, and P40 shapes, plus plugs, LED strips, panels, and undercabinet and garden lighting. OSRAM SMART+ covers classic and PAR16 multicolor bulbs, LED strips, and plugs.
What you can do
With Flow and Advanced Flow, you can use your LEDVANCE SMART+ and OSRAM SMART+ devices in your automations. Have a light blink when the washing machine finishes, or turn your garden lighting on at sunset and off when you go to bed. You can also mix LEDVANCE and OSRAM devices with devices from other brands in the same Flow.
Compatibility
Both apps work with Zigbee and Matter-compatible devices on Homey Cloud, Homey Pro, Homey Pro mini, and Homey Self-Hosted Server.
- Homey Pro and Homey Pro mini: Zigbee and Matter work out of the box.
- Homey Cloud and Homey Self-Hosted Server: you’ll need a Homey Bridge for Zigbee devices and a Thread Border Router for Matter-over-Thread devices.
- Homey Pro (2016 — 2019): Matter isn’t supported, but you can still use Zigbee devices.
Get started
Pairing works the same way as with any other device. Open the Homey Mobile App, go to the Devices tab, and tap the plus button in the top right. Choose New Device and search for LEDVANCE SMART+ or OSRAM SMART+. Tap the app and select the device you want to add.
