Turn any numeric sensor on your Homey into a trend: rising, falling or steady, with the pace and an estimate of when a threshold will be reached. A temperature dropping two degrees an hour does not read like a low temperature, and that difference is what the app makes usable.
The app reads no outside data: everything is computed locally, from your own sensors. Nothing leaves your home. The slope is estimated with the Theil-Sen method, robust to outliers, with a dead band measured on the sensor's own noise: a sensor that is not moving is called steady, never falling.
