Bring your local Eaton xComfort Bridge into Homey for everyday control of lighting, appliances and loads, shading, heating, safety sensors, weather readings, and energy insight from one or more bridges. The app keeps communication local to the bridge, helps avoid duplicate devices during setup, and exposes useful xComfort status in Homey without needing the Eaton mobile app for daily use.
Use Homey to automate xComfort scenes and their bridge automation, room lighting and shading, astro-based scene or room actions, climate presets, water protection, energy-aware loads, dimmer behavior, safe actuator unlocking, and optional bridge remote-access control while keeping auth-key or user/password bridge credentials in App Settings. The xComfort Rooms dashboard widget controls each bridge room by its stable ID, regardless of custom or localized names. Local bridge discovery can fill changed network addresses safely after authenticated identity verification, and Bridge Status includes detailed Bridge 4.x client and firmware health. A redacted diagnostics export is available from settings when support information is needed.
Read-only access to Homey's location is used only for the astro Flow condition. Coordinates stay on Homey and are not included in diagnostics exports.
