MCP AI Bridge
Your Homey Pro, powered by AI.
Control your Homey with any AI assistant, like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or Cursor. Just ask in plain language: turn off the lights, check the temperature, create a new flow, or manage your apps and devices. No programming required.
You can also build your own AI-powered automations in the Homey flow editor. Create flows that respond when your AI calls a custom command, and send a real answer back to the AI using device values and flow tokens.
Describe an automation in one sentence and your assistant builds the Advanced Flow for you, with every card in its place. Ask how a temperature or your energy use changed over the past weeks and it reads Homey Insights for you. Reaching your Homey from outside works without a computer running day and night.

MCP AI Bridge
An AI agent disconnects
Fires when a session to the bridge closes. Clients that send single requests without keeping a session open never connect in this sense, so they never fire it either.

A flow becomes broken
MCP AI Bridge
AI agent calls a custom tool
Every flow that starts with this card wakes on EVERY custom tool call, so follow it with the condition "The tool name is". Arguments declared with flow_tools_describe arrive as Argument 1 to 5, in the order they were declared.
MCP AI Bridge
An assistant asks Person to confirm
Used by the flow MCP AI Bridge makes for asking people on their phone. Starts when an assistant asks this person something; you do not need to place it yourself.

MCP AI Bridge
A scheduled bridge job fails
Fires when a job an assistant scheduled on the bridge runs and fails, for example because the device is gone or the access mode no longer allows it. Nobody is watching a schedule, which is exactly why it needs a card.

MCP AI Bridge
Speaking with the AI voice failed
Fires when a message could not be made or no speaker played it: a key that ran out, a speaker that is off, a limit that was reached. A doorbell that stays silent is exactly when you want to know.

Model spend today is below Amount
Uses the prices you set under Ask a model. With no price set the flow stops and says so, because there is nothing honest to compare with.
MCP AI Bridge
There is a broken flow
MCP AI Bridge
The model answers yes, at least At least, in percent% sure, to: Question Include Room or device Web Time limit in seconds If there is no clear answer
Asks the model for yes or no and how sure it is, from 0 to 100. Continues down the yes branch only when it says yes and is at least as sure as you ask; a yes it is unsure of goes down the no branch. If the answer cannot be read, is too slow or fails, the flow stops and says why, unless you chose a branch to take instead.
MCP AI Bridge
The model answers yes to: Question Include Room or device Web Time limit in seconds If there is no clear answer
Asks the provider you set up under Ask a model, with your own API key, and continues down the yes branch or the no branch. The model is told to answer with one word. If it answers something that is neither, is too slow or fails, the flow stops and says why, unless you chose a branch to take instead. A condition has no tags, so the app log says when that happened.

Limit the bridge to Mode
Never above the mode you chose on the settings page. A flow can be started by an assistant, so a card that could raise access would let an assistant lift its own limit. Picking a mode above yours sets yours.
MCP AI Bridge
Return the bridge to its normal access mode
Puts back the mode you chose on the settings page, and nothing higher.
MCP AI Bridge
Let the model do: Request Conversation Time limit in seconds If there is no answer
The model may operate your home for this request, as the API key you chose under Ask a model, Let the model act. Nothing irreversible and nothing that needs your confirmation. Every round to the model counts against the daily limit. The answer says what it did. Set a time limit and a fallback, and the flow carries on with the fallback when the model is too slow or fails; the tag Fallback used then says so.

MCP AI Bridge
Say Text on Speaker Provider Voice Volume, 0 to 100 Speed How it sounds Language code Tone first During quiet hours
Turns the text into natural speech with the provider you set up under AI voice, with your own key, and plays it on the speaker or room you choose. Works with Sonos, Chromecast and any speaker app that can play an audio address. The same sentence a second time comes from the cache and costs nothing. Use the Answer tag of Ask a model as the text to speak what a model wrote.
Advanced
MCP AI Bridge
Make AI speech of Text Provider Voice Speed How it sounds Language code
Makes the audio but does not play it. The Audio address tag works on your own network for fifteen minutes; give it to any card that plays a sound address, for a speaker this app does not know or to play it later in the flow.
Advanced
MCP AI Bridge
Ask the model: Question Include Room or device Web Time limit in seconds If there is no answer
Sends the question to the provider you set up under Ask a model, with your own API key, and gives the answer back as a tag you can use later in this flow. Text in, text out: the model cannot see your home unless you include the summary, and it cannot change anything. Set a time limit and a fallback, and the flow carries on with the fallback when the model is too slow or fails; the tag Fallback used then says so.
Advanced
MCP AI Bridge
Let the model choose from Options for: Question Include Room or device Web Time limit in seconds If there is no answer
Gives the model your options and the question, and hands back the option it chose, exactly as you wrote it, as a tag. Write the options one per line, or separated by commas. If the model answers something that is not on the list, is too slow or fails, the flow carries on with the fallback and the tag Fallback used says so. Without a fallback the flow stops and says why.
Advanced
MCP AI Bridge
Ask the model about Camera Question Time limit in seconds If there is no answer
Sends the latest picture of the camera, with your question, to the model you set up under Ask a model, with your own key, and hands back the answer. The model describes what it sees and never says who somebody is. Works with models that can see pictures (Claude, GPT-4o and later, Mistral Small 3.1 and later). Counts as one question against the daily limit. Set a time limit and a fallback, and the flow carries on with the fallback when the model is too slow or fails; the tag Fallback used then says so.

MCP AI Bridge
Describe Camera Question on Speaker Provider Voice Volume, 0 to 100 Tone first During quiet hours Time limit in seconds If there is no answer
Then says the answer on the speaker you choose with the AI voice, which is a second paid request with its own limit. For a doorbell: "Somebody rang the bell" as the trigger, this card as the action. Set a time limit and a fallback, and the flow carries on with the fallback when the model is too slow or fails; the tag Fallback used then says so.
Advanced
MCP AI Bridge
Ask the model for a number from Lowest to Highest: Question Include Room or device Web Time limit in seconds If there is no answer
Asks the model for one number between the two values and hands it back as a number tag. An answer that is not a number, or falls outside the range, is not stretched to fit: the flow carries on with the fallback and the tag Fallback used says so. Without a fallback the flow stops and says why.
Advanced
MCP AI Bridge
Ask the model: Question Include Room or device Web and say the answer on Speaker Provider Voice Volume, 0 to 100 Tone first During quiet hours Time limit in seconds If there is no answer
Ask a model and the AI voice in one card: the dishwasher finishes, a model writes a funny line, and it is spoken. Two requests you pay for, each counted against its own daily limit. Ask for one or two sentences, because everything the model writes is spoken. Set a time limit and a fallback, and the flow carries on with the fallback when the model is too slow or fails; the tag Fallback used then says so.
Advanced
MCP AI Bridge
Let the model start one of Flow 1 Flow 2 Flow 3 Flow 4 Flow 5 for: Situation Include Room or device Web Time limit in seconds If there is no clear answer
You pick up to five flows and describe the situation. The model picks one of them or none, and the app starts it. Only the flows on this card can ever be started, and every start goes through the same checks as when an AI starts a flow: your guardrail rules, tools you switched off and the access mode. A start a rule blocks stops the flow with that rule. If the model is too slow, fails or names no flow on the card, the fallback decides: stop, start nothing, or start the first flow.

MCP AI Bridge
Recall Name from the AI's memory

Say a Wording briefing on Speaker Add at the end Provider Voice Volume, 0 to 100 Tone first During quiet hours
Says the weather, the cheapest hour for electricity today, which lights are still on, which doors and windows are open, and who is home. Plain fills in fixed sentences and costs only the voice. Written by the model hands the same facts to the model under Ask a model, which is a paid question. A fact this Homey cannot give is left out.

버전 5.2.7 — A calendar card in a stack, under another card in the same spot on the dashboard, stayed on "No calendar": its address was never kept. It now works there like anywhere else. A calendar that cannot be fetched writes the reason in the app's log, so a diagnostics report shows it.
