PELS (Pris- og Effektstyrt Energilagringssystem) helps you optimize energy usage in your home by managing when your largest energy consumers run. It keeps you within your hard cap by limiting lower-priority devices when consumption approaches the limit, then resumes them when available power returns. It also supports price-based control using Norwegian spot prices and grid tariffs (with either strømstøtte or Norgespris model), Homey Energy dynamic prices, or external flow tag prices (Power by the Hour or similar) when you prefer external price feeds.
Set your capacity limit, assign priorities to your thermostats, water heaters, and supported EV chargers, and let PELS handle the rest. You can define different modes like Home, Away, or Night, each with their own temperature targets and priorities, and switch between them through Flows or the built-in PELS Insights device.

Fires when PELS expects this hour to exceed the hard cap and every managed device is already turned off or at its lowest step. Use it to alert someone to turn something off by hand. Daily budget overruns do not fire this trigger.

Fires once when a smart task ends. The [[outcome]] tag tells you how it ended — succeeded (target reached and held), missed (ready-by time passed before reaching the target), or abandoned (cleared by hand or the device dropped out). Values are stable lowercase ids — filter on them downstream.

Smart task schedule changed for Device
Fires when the smart task is rescheduled with a different number of hours — for example when new prices arrive, or when the device runs faster than estimated. Hour swaps that keep the same total and kWh-only redistributions stay quiet.

Fires when the smart task status transitions for the chosen device. Filter on the [[status]] tag downstream; values are stable lowercase ids: waiting / on_track / at_risk / unachievable / satisfied.
