Stay informed about nearby thunderstorm activity with real-time lightning strike detection from the Blitzortung community network. The app tracks each strike's distance, bearing, and direction, detects storm patterns automatically, and includes a dashboard widget showing strikes on an interactive map. Use it to trigger smart home actions when lightning approaches — close shutters, turn on lights, or receive a notification on your phone.
This app is not a storm warning system. It is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. Lightning data is provided by Blitzortung.org, a community-driven volunteer project, and is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.
