Life360 adds every family member to Homey as an individual device. It shows presence, Place, Circle, distance to Homey, address, phone battery, charging and connection status, driving status, speed, GPS accuracy and the latest update in the user’s Homey timezone. Homey Flows can respond to arrival, departure, Life360 Places, movement, driving, charging and battery changes or request a new location update. Each member also provides an Apple Maps location image as a Flow token. Authentication uses a LIFE360_AUTH_TOKEN entered in the app settings. Life360 does not provide an official public API, so this independent app uses its undocumented interface and is not affiliated with or supported by Life360. Select map members in the widget settings or with the purple person button below the centre button, and optionally show Circle places. Tap a purple place pin for its name. Member popups show the battery and distance to Homey. Saved places remain available after a restart and update live. Route lines connect received GPS points, with separate in-transit and driving states. By default, member data is checked every 5 seconds. Received updates appear on the map immediately without reloading it. The Life360 Pager widget automatically fits all selected members without scrolling and shows them alphabetically with their profile photo, live status, battery level and a localized Since time or weekday whenever a location is available. Tap a member for details or use Add a person to change the selection; a warning appears after one hour without a location update. Three compact dashboard widgets are also included: Family status for an at-a-glance overview, Family batteries for battery and charging levels, and Person details for one selected member. They update live from the same local Homey data stream without extra Life360 requests. AUTHENTICATION / CHROME EXTENSION To obtain LIFE360_AUTH_TOKEN, use the Life360 Token Helper Chrome extension.
