Welcome to the Development Blog series of Homey Pro (Early 2023). In these series we'll share updates around the next generation Homey Pro until all pre-orders have been fulfilled.
Good news! All pre-orders up until today will start shipping early next week (June 19th). It might take some time before you receive a Track & Trace e-mail, but be assured that you'll receive Homey Pro —and maybe your Homey Pro Ethernet Adapter— quite soon.
From then on, we should be able to make regular shipments every 1 to 2 weeks.
When the Early Access phase ends, we expect to ship any order next day in most cases.
We've successfully rolled out the newest iOS & Android app to everyone, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. And yes, dark mode is coming soon 🙂
The new Homey Pro itself has also received many updates, as you can read on the Homey Pro Changelog. It's still in Early Access, but our engineers are working every day to solve all remaining issues.
We've also shipped a first preview of Matter, which you can enable under Settings → Experiments. While our work on Thread is not yet complete, you could add some Wi-Fi/Ethernet only Matter devices, or add Thread devices if you already have a Thread Border Router such as HomePod mini or a Google Nest Hub. Because we'll have shipped all pre-orders soon, this will be the last update. In the meantime, keep an eye on our changelog and the Early Access Status.
