Everything Smart Home
Everything Smart Home is a UK company founded by Lewis Barclay, a well-known YouTuber in the smart home space. The brand began as a community-driven project focused on building practical, reliable and privacy-focused devices.
With the help of his father and support from the wider smart home community, Lewis developed products that prioritize privacy, local control and real-world usability. The company continues to stay closely connected to its users, improving and refining its designs based on genuine feedback and everyday experience.
Combining Speed and Precision in One Sensor
The Everything Presence One (EP1) solves one of the biggest limitations of traditional motion detection. Standard PIR motion sensors respond quickly to movement but cannot reliably detect if someone remains in a room without moving. The EP1 overcomes this issue by combining the instant response of a PIR sensor with the continuous monitoring of a 24 GHz mmWave radar sensor.

This dual PIR and mmWave system gives the EP1 both speed and precision. The PIR reacts instantly to motion, while the mmWave sensor continuously tracks subtle movements such as breathing or small body shifts. As a result, lights, heating and other automations stay active while someone is present and switch off only when the room is truly empty.
The EP1 also includes temperature, humidity and ambient light sensors, providing detailed environmental data alongside occupancy information. Its modular design allows users to swap or upgrade components, including support for several different mmWave radar modules depending on range or sensitivity needs. Flexible mounting options make the device suitable for both ceiling and wall installations, ensuring it fits easily into any environment.
Compact and Focused Tracking with EPL
The Everything Presence Lite (EPL) is a smaller and more focused version of the EP1. It uses a 24 GHz mmWave radar to track up to three people within a defined area and detect both movement and stillness with high accuracy. Even when someone remains seated or motionless, the EPL continues to register their presence correctly.
An integrated ambient light sensor allows the EPL to support lighting automations that respond to real conditions. It connects to Wi-Fi for easy setup and onboarding and is powered by USB-C for flexible placement. The compact enclosure fits well in smaller rooms such as bedrooms, hallways and home offices.

Like the EP1, the EPL supports several compatible mmWave radar modules that users can swap or upgrade as needed. This flexibility lets you fine-tune detection performance or adjust coverage for different room layouts. Focused solely on mmWave sensing, the EPL provides stable and accurate presence detection while keeping operation simple.
Smarter Homes with Homey and ESH
The Everything Presence One and Everything Presence Lite connect directly to Homey through the official Everything Presence app. After joining your network, the sensors appear in the Homey app as standard devices that provide presence, motion and light data. You can then use this information as triggers or conditions in Homey Flows, enabling your home to respond intelligently to real activity.
For example, lights can turn on instantly when someone enters a room and remain on as long as presence is detected. Smart thermostats can adjust automatically when a space becomes occupied, and energy-saving Flows can run once the area is empty. The sensors operate locally through Homey, ensuring quick responses and reliable performance without depending on cloud services.
Because both models support multiple mmWave radar modules, users can fine-tune detection performance and coverage even after installation. Combined with Homey’s Flow system, this flexibility makes it possible to create responsive and energy-efficient smart homes that react accurately to daily routines.
Together, Everything Smart Home and Homey form a unified system that focuses on precision, speed and reliability. Each room becomes more aware of real presence and environmental conditions, allowing automations to feel natural and consistent in everyday use.
