Homey Pro talks to first-generation CSRmesh wall dimmers over Bluetooth, so no gateway or bridge is needed. Pairing scans for nodes in range and lists them by the name they broadcast; add one device per dimmer, or a group device to drive a whole CSRmesh group with a single command. On/off and dim level are supported, and Homey can poll the dimmers so it follows along when someone uses the wall switch. Commands are encrypted with your installation's network passphrase - most use 1234, and it can be changed in the device settings.
Requires Homey Pro; Bluetooth LE is not available to apps on Homey Bridge. This app is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by SG, and it does not work with SG Smart 3.0. It was written with the help of AI, on top of protocol work that is not mine: nkaminski reverse-engineered CSRmesh itself, and fromm1990, einaros and erlwes worked out that these dimmers speak it. Those people shared what they found, which is why this app is possible at all - so it is published here for the same reason, rather than kept on one Homey. The source is open.
