MQTT Bridge

MQTT Bridge connects two MQTT brokers so your Homey automations and your other systems can share data seamlessly. Many energy monitoring systems, such as Solar Assistant, publish real-time data through their own local MQTT broker. MQTT Bridge listens to that broker and mirrors incoming messages into Homey's own MQTT broker, so any Homey Flow can react instantly to solar production, battery status, and other values, without leaving the Homey ecosystem or building a separate integration. Messages can travel the other way too. When you need to send a command back, for example to change an inverter's output priority, the app forwards messages from Homey onto the remote broker as well. Key features: - Connects to two independent MQTT brokers at the same time, keeping your local Homey broker and a remote device, such as a Solar Assistant unit, in sync. - Configurable topic filters in both directions, so you decide exactly what gets forwarded and where. - Optional topic prefixing, so bridged messages stay organised and easy to recognise. - Built-in protection against feedback loops, even if your topic filters happen to overlap. - A Flow trigger fires every time a message is bridged, and two Flow actions let you publish messages directly to either broker from any Flow. - A settings page with live connection status for both brokers and a one-click connection test. This app requires an MQTT broker already running on Homey, such as MQTT Broker by Scanno, plus a reachable MQTT broker on your local network, for example the one built into a Solar Assistant device.
