Zone Control is a lux-based PID lighting controller for Homey.
It keeps each room at a target light level using a sensor and smooth dimming.
The result is stable, flicker-free light that feels natural all day.
How it works
The app reads measured lux (PV) and adjusts the lights toward the target (SP).
It applies soft fades, an occupancy afterglow, and PV–SP hysteresis to avoid flicker or overcorrection.
Daylight curve
Each zone can use a custom curve with 2–10 points.
It defines how brightness follows daylight: more output in low light, less as daylight rises.
Curves can be edited in device settings or sent as JSON via Flow.
Modes and limits
Select Auto, Manual, On, Off or Night.
Set minimum and maximum output to match your lights and comfort.
Why it stands out
PID control and hysteresis ensure smooth, stable behavior even with noisy sensors or fast daylight changes.
