Cloud Cover America

Watch the weather cross the Americas, live from orbit.

A dashboard widget that loops through the latest GOES pictures, so you can watch a front cross the continent instead of reading a number. Imagery is courtesy of NASA's Global Imagery Browse Services and covers the Americas from Alaska to Patagonia.

Nowości

Wersja 1.0.2 — The app is now called Cloud Cover America. GOES-West images are dated by their own satellite, the tile no longer goes blank after midnight UTC or during a refresh, and the position sent is rounded. Widgets now fill the whole tile and offer five backgrounds: deep blue, slate, plum, forest and sand. The tiles share a common layout: category, name, value and details, easier to read at a glance. Without your Homey's location, the title names the area actually shown.
