Dreame Matter App for Homey (X50 Ultra & Co.) Hybrid Solution: Matter + Cloud This Homey App is designed as a revolutionary hybrid solution. Its foundation of local control relies 100% on the new Smart Home Matter protocol, providing extremely fast local commands. Optionally, a Dreame Cloud integration is available. It extends the core Matter functionality by offering live maps, beautiful dashboards, and special cleaning modes (Pro Features). NOTE: Currently, Dreame accounts in the EUROPEAN REGION (EU including CH) are supported. Users with US or Asian accounts cannot utilize the cloud features at this time. PAIRING WITH HOMEY (MATTER) 1. Retrieve Pairing Code: - Open the Dreamehome App on your smartphone. - Navigate to Device Settings (top right) -> Smart Home Integration -> Matter. - Copy the numerical Matter Pairing Code. - Note: Some models may also feature a physical Matter QR code/sticker on the base station or the robot itself. 2. Add Device in Homey: - Tap the '+' icon in Homey -> New Device. - Select Dreame Hybrid -> Dreame Hybrid Cleaner. - Enter your numerical code when prompted by Homey. What can the pure Matter version do? (Local Only) Without relying on Cloud credentials, the robot works completely standalone and locally via Matter in Homey. The following Matter functions & flows are available: - Start, pause, and return to the docking station - View current battery percentage and operational state (Cleaning, Paused, Error, etc.) - Use Homey Flows to trigger basic state changes like any other standard switch - Execute standard whole-house cleanings without specific zones What does the combination (Matter + Cloud) offer? By voluntarily entering your Dreame Account credentials in the App Settings, the strict Matter foundation gets supercharged with advanced Cloud Pro Features: - Live Map Dashboard (Map Widget) including real-time robot tracking and room labels - Advanced Control Dashboard (Control Widget) to trigger specific room cleanings (Room 1, Room 2, etc.) - Special Flows: Trigger specific room cleaning automatically via the exclusive Homey Flow Action "Clean specific rooms (Cloud)". - Trigger special cleaning modes ("Vacuum Only", "Mop Only", "CleanGenius", etc.) - Real-time display of consumable lifespans for sensors, filters, mops, and water tanks. - The ninja-passive MQTT tracking ensures the vacuum's delicate navigation logic is completely undisturbed during travel. Setup Instructions: Cloud Login, Room Labeling, and Cleaning Order 1. Login inside Homey: Navigate to "Apps" -> "Dreame" -> "Configure". Enter your Dreame Cloud username and password. 2. Configure Rooms and Order: Open the "Control Widget" in the Homey App. Click on the small gear icon (Settings) inside the widget. 3. Enter your layout into the text field using the exact format "ID=Name" (e.g., "1=Livingroom,2=Kitchen") and save. The Control Widget will automatically construct the room selection buttons based exactly on your layout and order. Additional Features of the Interactive Map (Map Widget) The Map Dashboard offers extensive on-screen configuration options directly within the widget: - Zoom: Use the magnifying glass options to scale the floorplan. - Rotate & Mirror: Use the controls at the edge of the map to rotate the floorplan in 90-degree steps or flip it horizontally/vertically until it perfectly aligns with reality. These display configurations are saved permanently! - Manual Refresh: Use the circular arrow button to force an immediate map update from the cloud anytime. IMPORTANT: What happens to the pure Matter logic (Homey Flows)? Even with the Cloud extension fully activated, all standard Matter flows remain fully local. You can seamlessly integrate the robot into your existing logic using standard Homey Flow cards (e.g., "If button pressed, start cleaning"). An internet or cloud outage will never disrupt your core Matter automations. The cloud API is strictly utilized only when the Widgets (Map, Zones), advanced telemetry polling, or specific Cloud Flow Actions ("Clean specific rooms") are actively engaged.
