HEMS Controller

HEMS Controller connects your Homey to the HEMS (Home Energy Management System) cloud service. HEMS optimizes your home battery based on real-time electricity prices, solar production forecasts, and your consumption patterns. The app sends your current battery level, solar production, and grid power to HEMS every few minutes, and receives back intelligent commands like charge, discharge, export, or hold. To get started, you need a HEMS account and API key. Add the HEMS Controller device in Homey, enter your API key, then create a flow that runs every 5 minutes to send your sensor data to HEMS. Use the trigger cards to react to HEMS commands and control your inverter accordingly. The app works with any inverter that can be controlled via Homey, including Fronius, SMA, Huawei, Solis, and others.
