AECC Battery brings local control of AECC-platform plug-in home batteries to Homey. It connects directly to the battery over your home network, without a cloud round-trip, and shows live charge state, power flow and energy totals in Homey, alongside the ability to set a charge or discharge target and hand control back to the battery's own logic at any time. It is built for owners of Sunpura, Lunergy, Voltdeer, AEG Solarcube, AFERIY, AccuMate, JET, Oscal, Fossibot, TSUN and other batteries that share this platform, who want their battery to show up alongside the rest of their home in Homey Energy and flows.
If solar panels are connected to your battery, you can add its PV input as a second, separate device, so generation lands in the Homey Energy tab as production instead of disappearing into the battery tile. That device follows the battery you pick, shares its single connection and reports live PV power plus a generated energy total.
The battery accepts only one local connection at a time, so this app cannot run alongside a Home Assistant integration or any other client talking to the same battery over your network. The manufacturer's app does not use that connection and does not have to be closed, but let one system do the controlling: commands sent from that app and from Homey land on the same schedule in the battery and overwrite each other. The protocol and its quirks were worked out for the sibling Home Assistant integration and are documented for anyone who wants to read further or contribute.
