Hue Device Location Sync

Keeps your Philips Hue devices in the correct Homey zones. Homey does not know which Hue room a device belongs to, so zone placement drifts as you add and move lights. This app reads the rooms from your Hue bridge and moves the matching Homey devices into the zones you chose, automatically. How it works - Connect: find your Hue bridge on the network and press its link button. The bridge is only ever read, never changed. - Map once: for every Hue room, pick the Homey zone it belongs to. Rooms you leave unmapped are ignored. - Preview: see exactly which devices would move before anything changes. - Start syncing: applies the mapping now and keeps it in sync on an interval you choose. Stop at any time; devices stay where they are. Details - Only devices of the official Philips Hue app that belong to your paired bridge are touched, and only their zone is changed. - Devices already in the right zone are left alone, so repeated syncs are harmless. - A Flow action card lets you run a sync (or a preview) from your Flows. - An activity log shows every move, sync and change. Note: Homey does not allow apps to move devices with their own permissions. The app asks for a Homey API key with the Devices permission (Homey web app → Settings → API Keys); the key is stored only on your Homey.
