Connect your Lutron RA3 (RadioRA 3) system to Homey and bring your Lutron
lighting and controls into your wider smart home.
Unlike RA2 and Caseta, RA3 uses Lutron's newer LEAP protocol, which the
existing Caseta app does not support. This app talks to your RA3 processor
directly over your local network - no Lutron cloud account required.
What you can control
- Dimmers: on/off and brightness control, with fade/transition support.
- Switches and appliance modules: on/off control of switched loads.
- Keypads and Pico remotes: respond to button presses anywhere in your Flows.
- Keypad LEDs: react to LED state and drive keypad buttons from a Flow.
Flow cards
- Triggers: a button is pressed, any button is pressed, a button LED turns
on, a button LED turns off.
- Conditions: a button LED is on / off.
- Actions: press a button.
Setup
1. Make sure your RA3 processor is powered on and on the same network as
your Homey.
2. In Homey, add a device and choose Lutron RA3. Your processor is
discovered automatically.
3. When prompted, press the button on the front of the processor to
authorise Homey. This is a one-time secure pairing; credentials are
stored locally on your Homey, not in the cloud.
4. Add your dimmers, switches, keypads and Pico remotes.
Requirements
- A Lutron RA3 (RadioRA 3) processor. RA2 Select, RA2, and Caseta are not
supported - use the dedicated Caseta app for those.
- Your Homey and the RA3 processor must be on the same local network.
