DiO HomeBox Gateway

Regain control of your DiO HomeBox with Homey. The app automatically creates a gateway between your DiO HomeBox and Homey by communicating directly with the HomeBox on your local network to retrieve the DiO devices, their information, status and position, and then send commands to the modules. Modules must remain paired and configured in the DiO HomeBox as before: the Homey app uses the devices already present in the HomeBox and does not replace their original pairing. DiO 1.0 and 2.0 lights and shutters are supported, with improved shutter control using a slider and percentage positioning. The app is also designed to recognize other module families present in the HomeBox, such as dimmers, sockets, sensors, heating, gates and other compatible equipment. The app automatically detects your HomeBox on the local network and provides easy access to its web interface from the app settings. Access to the HomeBox interface is available only when your phone or computer is connected to the HomeBox local network. You can access the familiar control page for your DiO equipment and scenarios in Homey from your phone, both at home and remotely, without relying on the former DiO cloud servers.
