Your iPhone talks straight to your Sonos speakers over your own Wi-Fi, and your own voice comes out of the ones you pick. What it cannot do on its own is reach them when you are not home. The problem is not the command but the sound: the speaker fetches the recording from the phone itself, and a phone in another town is not something a speaker can reach. Your Homey is in the house, so it can hold the recording ready while the speaker fetches it. Install this app, open the phone app once while you are home, and the two find each other on their own. There is nothing to type and nothing to sign in to. No Sonos account is needed, the recording never rests anywhere on the internet, and it is dropped from memory again as soon as it has played. Requires Homey Pro and the Sonnounce app for iPhone or Mac. If you want, you can switch on "Save announcements" in the app settings. Every announcement is then also kept on the Homey until you download it to a folder from the iPhone or Mac app. It is off until you switch it on, and nothing leaves the house.
