VW Group Vehicle Data

Access your Volkswagen Group vehicle data on Homey via the EU Data Act portal. Supported brands: Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, Škoda, SEAT, Cupra and Bentley. AVAILABILITY: This app requires the EU Data Act portal, which is only available in EU-27 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden. FEATURES - Battery level (SoC) and electric range - Charging state, charge power, charge speed, remaining charge time, target SoC - Mileage (odometer) - Door and window status (open/closed) - Lock state (locked/unlocked) - Outside temperature - Fuel level (combustion/hybrid vehicles) - Parking brake and vehicle standing still - Flow triggers for battery level, charging state, mileage and lock changes - Flow conditions for "vehicle is charging" and "vehicle is locked" PREREQUISITES Before using this app, you need to set up continuous data delivery on the VW Group EU Data Act portal: 1. You need a brand account (Volkswagen ID, myAudi, myŠkoda, etc.) with your vehicle registered 2. Go to https://eu-data-act.drivesomethinggreater.com 3. Sign in with your existing brand account credentials 4. Select your vehicle 5. Choose the data clusters you want (recommended: "All Data") 6. Enable continuous data delivery 7. Wait up to 30 minutes for the first dataset to appear SETUP IN HOMEY 1. Add a new device: Devices → Add Device → VW Group Vehicle Data 2. Select your brand (Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda, SEAT, Cupra, Bentley) 3. Enter your email and password (same credentials as the EU Data Act portal) 4. Select your vehicle from the list 5. The device will start polling for data automatically (default: every 15 minutes) DATA FRESHNESS The portal generates a new dataset approximately every 15 minutes. Actual data freshness depends on when your vehicle last sent telemetry to the VW cloud. When parked and not charging, data may be several hours old. The data subscription on the portal is valid for approximately 12 months and must be renewed manually afterwards. Data access is free of charge under the EU Data Act regulation.
