Geberit AquaClean

Control a Geberit AquaClean shower toilet from Homey without a cloud account. Start and stop the anal shower, lady shower and dryer, open and close the lid, run the odour extraction, and follow live status: who is sitting, what is running, how the descaling is going and when the filter is due. Every per-profile setting — shower pressure and position, water and dryer temperature, seat heat, fan power, oscillation — is readable and writable, and each write is read back from the toilet before the app reports it as saved. Homey talks to the toilet over Bluetooth through an ESP32 running ESPHome as a Bluetooth proxy, placed within a few metres of it. The easiest way to set it up is to flash the ESP32 from your web browser: plug it in, click Install, and enter your WiFi, with no ESPHome and no command line (the install link is on the GitHub page). Advanced users can flash the ESPHome configuration by hand instead. Pairing then asks for the proxy address. Nothing leaves your own network, and the connections are kept short and infrequent so the toilet's own remote and the Geberit Home app stay usable alongside Homey. Developed and tested on a Mera Comfort. The Bluetooth protocol work it builds on comes from the jens62/geberit-aquaclean project, used with credit.
