This app connects to your dish over the local network using its built-in gRPC API — no cloud, no account, no extra hardware. As long as your Homey can reach the dish at 192.168.100.1, it works.
Works with all current Starlink models, including Standard, Mini and High Performance.
What you get:
- Live download and upload throughput
- Ping latency and packet loss
- Obstruction percentage and current obstruction status
- Dish state (connected, searching, booting, stowed, thermal shutdown, etc.)
- Dish orientation (azimuth, elevation)
- Altitude and GPS satellite count (if location sharing is enabled on the dish)
- Uptime
- Alarms for heating, thermal throttling, slow ethernet, roaming, unexpected location, obstructions, low SNR and missing GPS fix
All numeric values and alarms are logged to Insights for historical graphs.
Setup:
1. Make sure your Homey and dish are on the same network, or that the dish is reachable at 192.168.100.1 from Homey.
2. Add the device. The default address (192.168.100.1:9200) is pre-filled.
3. If your dish uses a different address, change it in the device's settings.
Notes:
- Altitude requires "Allow Access on Local Network" to be enabled in the Starlink app. Without it, altitude will stay empty and the rest keeps working.
- Data refreshes every 30 seconds.
