Device Watchdog
Device's battery gets low
Device Watchdog
Battery, connectivity, and data-freshness monitoring for all your Homey devices.
Device Watchdog keeps an eye on all your Homey devices, so you don't have to. It tracks low battery, devices that have stopped sending new data, and devices Homey itself reports as unreachable - all in one place, with sensible defaults so nothing needs to be configured to get started.
Works with any device on your Homey regardless of connection type - Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or 433 MHz - no per-brand setup required. Every device is monitored automatically; you can exclude individual devices or entire zones with a click, and fine-tune battery and reporting thresholds per device where needed. A manual reachability test, a running history log, optional Homey Timeline notifications, a virtual status device for your Insights and dashboards, and a dashboard widget showing exactly which devices need attention round out the picture, alongside a full set of Flow cards for building automations around what it finds.

Fires when a scan (interval or manual) newly detects that the selected device's battery dropped to/below its threshold, or reports a battery alarm. For any device instead of one specific one, use "Devices with low battery are newly found".
Device Watchdog
Device stops reporting
Fires when a scan (interval or manual) newly detects that the selected device hasn't reported within its configured threshold. For any device instead of one specific one, use "Devices are newly found not reporting".
Device Watchdog
Device's reachability test fails
Fires whenever a reachability test for the selected device fails - whether started manually ("Test" button in Settings) or via the "Test device reachability" action card.
Device Watchdog
Device's reachability test succeeds
Fires whenever a reachability test for the selected device succeeds - whether started manually ("Test" button in Settings) or via the "Test device reachability" action card.
Device Watchdog
Device becomes unavailable
Fires in realtime for the selected device, directly via Homey's device availability event - independent of the interval scan. Respects the device's "monitored" toggle (off = never fires for it); the narrower "Ignore unavailable" toggle doesn't affect this trigger. For any device instead of one specific one, use "Devices newly become unavailable".
Device Watchdog
Devices become available again
Fires in realtime, bundling every device that becomes available again within a few seconds of each other into a single trigger - the recovery counterpart to "Devices newly become unavailable".
Device Watchdog
Devices' battery is OK again
Fires once per scan, bundling every device whose battery rose back above its threshold in that scan into a single trigger - the recovery counterpart to "Devices with low battery are newly found".
Device Watchdog
Devices with low battery are newly found
Fires once per scan, bundling every device that newly dropped to/below its battery threshold in that scan into a single trigger - instead of firing "A device's battery gets low" once per device.
Device Watchdog
Devices are newly found not reporting
Fires once per scan, bundling every device that newly stopped reporting in that scan into a single trigger - instead of firing "A device stops reporting" once per device.
Device Watchdog
Devices are reporting again
Fires once per scan, bundling every device that newly resumed reporting in that scan into a single trigger - the recovery counterpart to "Devices are newly found not reporting".
Device Watchdog
Devices newly become unavailable
Fires in realtime, bundling every device that becomes unavailable within a few seconds of each other into a single trigger (e.g. after a mesh network hiccup) - instead of firing "A device becomes unavailable" once per device.

Device Watchdog
Any device has low battery
Checks the result of the last scan for any device currently flagged with low battery, without picking one specific device.
Device Watchdog
Any device is not reporting
Checks the result of the last scan for any device currently flagged as "not reporting", without picking one specific device.
Device Watchdog
Any device is unavailable
Checks the live count of currently unavailable devices across your whole setup, without picking one specific device. Same filtering as the summary trigger and the virtual device's counter (respects "monitored" and "Ignore unavailable").
Device Watchdog
Device has low battery
Checks whether a specific device was flagged with a low or alarming battery in the last scan.
Device Watchdog
Device isn't reporting
Checks whether a specific device was flagged as not reporting in the last scan.
Device Watchdog
Device is paused
Checks whether a specific device currently has an active seasonal pause (set under its Details, or via the "Pause device until date" action).
Device Watchdog
Device is unavailable
Checks a specific device's live availability, as reported directly by Homey - independent of the interval scan. Always false if the device's "monitored" toggle is off.

Pause Device until Paused until Rescan immediately
Skips the device entirely (like the "monitored" toggle turned off) until the given date, then it resumes automatically on the next scan. Same effect as setting "Paused until" under the device's Details. For a computed/dynamic date via a token or Homey Logic variable instead of picking a fixed date, use "Pause device until date (variable)" instead.
"Rescan immediately" below forces a full device scan right after pausing, so this device's counts, the virtual device's alarm, and the dashboard widget reflect the pause right away - instead of only catching up on the next scheduled/manual scan. Useful if the device currently has an active problem you want cleared from the counts immediately. Off by default (no extra scan unless you turn it on).
Device Watchdog
Pause Device until Paused until (YYYY-MM-DD) Rescan immediately
Same as "Pause device until date", but the date is a text field so you can drop in a token or a Homey Logic variable instead of picking a fixed date - useful for a computed or dynamic date. Type a date directly as YYYY-MM-DD, or insert a token/variable that resolves to one. An unrecognizable value is treated as no pause, not an error.
"Rescan immediately" below forces a full device scan right after pausing, so this device's counts, the virtual device's alarm, and the dashboard widget reflect the pause right away - instead of only catching up on the next scheduled/manual scan. Off by default (no extra scan unless you turn it on).
Device Watchdog
Resume Device (clear pause)
Clears an active seasonal pause early, so the device is monitored again right away instead of waiting for the pause date. Does nothing if the device isn't currently paused.
Device Watchdog
Run device scan now
Runs a full device check immediately, independent of the automatic interval setting. Also works when the automatic scan is disabled in the app settings.
Device Watchdog
Test Device's reachability
Re-sends the device's current value to itself as a non-intrusive reachability check (same as the "Test" button in Settings). Fails - stopping the flow, or following the error path in advanced flows - if the device doesn't support this or doesn't respond. Pair with "A device test succeeds"/"A device test fails" to branch on the result in a standard flow instead.

새로운 기능
버전 1.9.47 — • Fixed: "Wait after app start" (startup grace period) wasn't actually delaying the first scan when the regular scan interval was shorter than the grace period - the interval's own first tick could fire before the grace delay was up, causing a burst of false "not reporting" flags right after a Homey restart, exactly what this setting exists to prevent
