Your energy, managed differently
HomeFlux EMS coordinates batteries, solar production and flexible loads around the energy contract you actually use. It supports dynamic pricing, but is equally designed for fixed contracts with two or more time-of-use tariff periods such as peak/off-peak and multi-rate schedules.
HomeFlux combines tariff periods, PV forecasts, battery reserve, self-consumption, grid limits and user priorities in one control strategy. Hardware integrations remain independent through explicit Homey Flow cards, while Peak Guard remains a hard safety layer.
The goal: increase useful self-consumption, buy energy at the right moments, protect reserve for later and avoid unnecessary grid peaks.
Use the optional HomeFlux EMS device for quick control/status and add the EMS status and Savings widgets to keep planning, ownership and cost impact visible on your Homey dashboard.
Autotune can auto-manage individually approved parameters only above a configurable confidence threshold and within user-defined limits. Savings also includes PV export/feed-in; positive export prices are compensation, negative prices are injection costs.
Each EV can stop at its SoC target (default) or continue according to configured tariff and PV preferences. Manual session stops and kWh targets still stop charging.

HomeFlux EMS
Clear EV planning override
Clears the persistent Flow minimum target for the selected EV, whether it was supplied as SoC or required kWh. HomeFlux immediately falls back to the target/deadline settings configured in the app. Only slots within the saved device count are offered. At count 0 the list is empty.
HomeFlux EMS
EV charging session has ended
Use a reliable charger or vehicle end status. HomeFlux immediately withdraws the selected EV grid permission, sends Stop for mode control and resumes normal battery control. The end remains latched until the selected EV reconnects. Only slots within the saved device count are offered. At count 0 the list is empty.
HomeFlux EMS
Get current HomeFlux EMS status
Returns the current EMS status as tokens. Connect the status token to Homey's own Logic card to write it to a text variable.

HomeFlux EMS
Read Price source prices JSON Prices JSON for Period
Send a timestamped JSON curve or a numeric price array, up to 120 hours ahead. For numeric arrays select the same period as the provider; resolution follows the dynamic contract. Timestamped data ignores Period. Source labels use your configured names. Renaming a source does not change its identity.

HomeFlux EMS
EV: Energy needed (kWh) kWh needed by Deadline (HH:mm) · guaranteed: Guarantee target?
Sets a persistent minimum energy target for the selected EV. It remains active until another EV target is submitted or the planning override is cleared. HomeFlux tracks delivered energy from the reported charge current. Guarantee = No keeps deadline charging on configured favourable tariffs/PV; Yes may use any tariff when required to secure the minimum. Peak Guard always remains absolute. Only slots within the saved device count are offered. At count 0 the list is empty. The session completes when measured charging current has delivered the requested kWh. Pauses do not reset the remaining energy.
HomeFlux EMS
EV override for one session: EV 1 operating mode
Temporarily use the selected operating mode for the selected EV for one connection session. If the selected EV is already connected, the override ends when it disconnects. If it is disconnected, the override waits for the next connect → disconnect cycle. The configured mode for the selected EV is never overwritten. Only slots within the saved device count are offered. At count 0 the list is empty.
HomeFlux EMS
EV: minimum Minimum SoC (%)% SoC by Deadline (HH:mm) · guaranteed: Guarantee target?
Sets a persistent minimum SoC and deadline for the selected EV. It remains active until another EV target is submitted or the planning override is cleared. Guarantee = No tries to secure the minimum on configured favourable tariffs/PV; Yes may use any tariff when required. After fresh SoC reaches the target, the per-EV setting selects stopping or continuing with normal tariff/PV preferences. Stopping is the default. Reconnecting arms the target again. Peak Guard always remains absolute. Only slots within the saved device count are offered. At count 0 the list is empty.
