OCPP Server brings OCPP 1.6-compatible EV chargers into Homey Pro.
The app runs an OCPP 1.6 Central System on your Homey and listens for WebSocket connections from chargers on your local network. Once paired, each charger appears as a Homey device exposing its charging state, power, energy meter and voltage, and can be started or stopped from the Homey app or from flows.
Setup is straightforward: install the app, add a new device, copy the displayed URL into your charger's OCPP configuration, and complete the pairing wizard. No cloud account or third-party service is required — all communication stays on your local network.
Requirements:
- Homey Pro (2023 or later)
- An OCPP 1.6-compatible charger reachable on the same LAN as Homey
Flow control:
The "Set charging current limit" flow action sends an OCPP 1.6 SetChargingProfile (TxDefaultProfile, A) to the charger. Most chargers honour this and throttle accordingly; some firmwares accept the profile but silently ignore the value, in which case the action reports success but the charger may not actually limit. If you need guaranteed enforcement, verify with your charger's own monitoring.
