Vent-Axia

The Vent-Axia Svensa is a smart extractor fan that measures humidity, air quality, light and temperature, but out of the box you can only reach it with the manufacturer's phone app, one person at a time, standing in the room. This app puts the fan in Homey instead: set its speed, start a boost, pause it, and tune how eagerly it reacts to moisture, odours and movement, while its sensors become tiles the rest of your home can use. Everything runs locally over Bluetooth Low Energy, so there is no cloud, account or gateway involved. Your Homey Pro does need to be within Bluetooth range of the fan, and pairing asks the fan for its own PIN code, which takes a few presses on the unit itself.
