Bring your Mitsubishi Electric air conditioner or heat pump into Homey without a cloud account. The app talks directly to the unit's Wi-Fi adapter (MAC-558/567/568/578/588IF-E) over your local network using the open ECHONET Lite protocol, so it keeps working even when the internet doesn't — fast, private and independent of MELCloud. Adjust power, mode, target temperature, fan speed and vane position from Homey or your Flows, and keep an eye on the room and outdoor temperatures. Units are discovered automatically or added by IP address, and changes made with the IR remote or the MELCloud app are picked up automatically, so Homey always shows the current state.
