Energy KPI Monitor brings your home's energy use together in a clear dashboard, so you can quickly see what is using power, where consumption happens, and how it changes over time. The app is built for users who want more than a simple meter value. It gives you a practical KPI and operations view for the whole home, each zone and each device, while keeping Homey easy to understand. What does it do? - Shows live power usage for the whole home - Shows consumption by hour, day, week, month and year - Groups consumption by zone, so you can see where energy is used - Shows top consumers, making large loads easy to find - Shows cost and estimated energy expenses when price data is available - Shows data quality, separating measured and calculated values - Provides reports with consumption, cost, KPI variance and zone distribution - Includes widgets with both overview and report views - Adds Flow conditions based on consumption, price and data coverage Measured and calculated consumption Devices with a built-in energy meter are used automatically as measured data. Devices without a meter can be included when valid power values are available in Homey, such as on/off power usage or min./max. power usage for lights. This gives you a more complete picture of your home's energy use, while still making the data quality clear. Measured and calculated consumption are kept separate, so the numbers are easy to understand and trust. Dashboard and reports The dashboard shows live consumption, history, cost, trend, data coverage and zone distribution. The report view helps you follow energy performance over time: - Total consumption for the selected period - Variance against a previous reference period - Status against your own targets - Top 10 consumers - Distribution by zone - Measured and calculated share It is designed for daily monitoring, troubleshooting and energy follow-up - not just for showing a single number. Widgets The widget gives you fast insight directly from Homey. You can choose period, zone and view: - Overview: live usage, trend, cost, data quality and top consumers - Report: period consumption, KPI variance, top consumers and zone distribution This makes the app useful both for quick checks and ongoing follow-up. Flow and automation Energy KPI Monitor adds Flow conditions so you can react to energy data. Examples: - If live consumption is above a selected threshold - If today's, week's, month's or year's consumption is above a target - If energy cost is above a selected threshold - If the kWh price is high - If data coverage is too low This makes practical automations possible without creating extra proxy devices for every consumer. Good to know Energy KPI Monitor does not change your devices and does not try to replace Homey Energy. It adds a professional KPI layer on top of your existing Homey data. Accuracy depends on the data the app can access. Devices with built-in meters provide measured values. Devices without meters are calculated from the power values configured in Homey. The goal is a clear, useful and professional energy overview that remains easy to understand in everyday use.
