# Unfolded Circle for Homey
This app connects your Unfolded Circle products with Homey. It does three things:
1. Lets you control your UC Dock from Homey (LED brightness, IR blaster, identify).
2. Lets you control your UC Remote from Homey (power, display brightness, battery status).
3. Makes your Homey devices available on the UC Remote (lights, climate, media, switches, sensors, and flows).
Below you will find how to set up each part.
## Adding a UC Dock to Homey
The UC Dock lets you send and learn IR codes, control its status LED, and more.
1. Open the Homey app and go to Devices.
2. Tap the + button and search for "Unfolded Circle".
3. Select "UC Dock". Homey will automatically discover your dock(s) on the network.
4. Select one or more docks and tap Next.
5. Enter the 4-digit dock token (default is 0000). You can find or change this token in the Remote's web configurator under Docks & Integrations.
6. Tap Done. Your dock(s) will appear in Homey.
Once added you can: adjust the LED brightness, press the Identify button to blink the dock LEDs, and use Flow cards to send IR codes, start/stop IR learning, or reboot the dock.
## Adding a UC Remote to Homey
The UC Remote appears as a device in Homey so you can monitor its battery, control power, and adjust display brightness.
1. Open the Homey app and go to Devices.
2. Tap the + button and search for "Unfolded Circle".
3. Select "UC Remote". Homey will automatically discover your remote(s) on the network.
4. Select your remote and tap Next.
5. Enter the 4-digit web configurator PIN shown on your Remote (Settings > System > Web Configurator).
6. Tap Done. Your remote will appear in Homey.
Once added you can: turn the remote on/off (Wake-on-LAN and suspend), adjust the display brightness, and see battery level, charging status, and ambient light. Use Flow cards to send entity commands or start/stop activities.
## Controlling Homey devices from the UC Remote
This app also works the other way around: it makes your Homey devices available as entities on the UC Remote, so you can control them from the Remote's touchscreen and buttons.
1. On your UC Remote, go to Settings > Docks & Integrations.
2. Tap the + button and select "Homey" from the list of available integrations. If Homey does not appear, make sure both devices are on the same network and this app is installed.
3. The Remote will connect to Homey and your devices will appear as entities.
4. You can now add these entities to your Remote's pages and activities.
Supported device types include: lights, switches, climate (thermostats, AC), media players (TV, speakers), sensors, covers, locks, and more. Homey Flows can also be triggered directly from the Remote.
