Luxtronik Heat Pump Manager brings your Luxtronik-based heat pump into Homey — with full sensor visibility, smart flow integration, and direct control over heating and hot water. Whether you want to automate hot water heating with solar surplus, adjust operating modes, or get notified when your heat pump changes state, this app gives you the tools to do it. Compatible with Alpha-Innotec, CTA, Novelan, Roth, Elco, Buderus, Nibe, Wolf Heiztechnik and many other Luxtronik-based systems. The app uses the standardised Luxtronik interface and works across different system configurations and firmware versions.

What’s new

Version 2.1.4 — Several robustness fixes. Adding a heat pump now reports a clear failure after 15 seconds instead of leaving the dialog spinning indefinitely when the controller does not answer, and the abandoned connection is closed so that trying again straight away is no longer blocked by it. The heat source inlet and outlet tiles no longer report −50 °C on units where those sensors do not physically exist; they are hidden instead. Cooling is now recognised from the cooling hours counter and the mixing circuit configuration as well as from the release flag, so the cooling tiles no longer disappear while cooling merely happens to be blocked. The heating status is finally read from the controller's own status code instead of by matching German text, which also fixes the three defrost variants. Heat pumps without a heat meter no longer show heating, hot water and total energy stuck at 0 kWh: those tiles are hidden when the controller reports nothing after the circuit has been running for more than a day.
