The End of Scooping

The Litter-Robot 4 is an automatic, self-cleaning litter box that eliminates daily scooping. Its patented sifting system separates waste from clean litter after each use, depositing clumps into a sealed, odor-controlled drawer with a carbon filter to help contain smells. For extra odor control, the optional OdorTrap® System neutralizes odor molecules using plant-based oils.

The unit operates quietly enough not to disturb your cat and supports up to four at once, making it suitable for multi-cat households. Whisker also offers accessories for the Litter-Robot 4, including a ramp for easier access for kittens or senior cats, and the LitterHopper, which automatically refills the litter.

Track Your Pet’s Habits

In addition to its self-cleaning function, the Litter-Robot 4 can monitor your cat’s weight and bathroom habits. By creating a profile for each cat, you can log details such as their birthday, diet, and weight history.

The integrated SmartScale™ technology records your cat’s weight with every use. In multi-cat households, the Litter-Robot 4 can identify which cat is using the unit and assign the data to the correct profile. Over time, these records can reveal changes in weight or litter box use—often early indicators of health issues—and provide a useful history for your veterinarian.

A Smarter Home for Your Cat

When you connect the Litter-Robot 4 to Homey through the Whisker app, it becomes part of your smart home. Homey can then use real-time data from the Litter-Robot to start Flows when the waste drawer is full, a cat is detected, a cleaning cycle ends, or the LitterHopper is empty.

This integration makes it possible to create useful automations. For example, you can turn on the Litter-Robot’s night light when a cat is detected after dark, or start a smart robot vacuum after three waste cycles to keep the area clean. You can also control the Litter-Robot directly from Homey, such as starting a cleaning cycle or locking the keypad remotely.

Homey can also track your pet’s weight, diet, and birthday, and send notifications for upcoming birthdays or when changes in data may indicate a potential health issue. Together, the Litter-Robot 4 and Homey create a smarter home for your cat.
