AirKorea brings outdoor air-quality readings from Korean public monitoring stations into Homey. The data is based on real-time observations and may be unavailable depending on local station conditions or data reception status. Add a monitoring station by choosing a city or province such as Seoul, Busan, Gyeonggi, or Jeju during pairing. The app then creates a Homey sensor device for the selected station. Each station updates automatically every 30 minutes and exposes the current public air-quality index, fine dust, ultra-fine dust, and major pollutant measurements. Supported measurements: Fine dust (PM10) Ultra-fine dust (PM2.5) Comprehensive air-quality index Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) Ozone (O3) Carbon monoxide (CO) Sulfur dioxide (SO2) Public air-quality grade You can use these values in Homey Flow to react to outdoor air conditions. For example, you can notify your household when fine dust is high, pause ventilation when outdoor air is poor, or log long-term air-quality changes for a selected area. AirKorea data is provided by the Korean public data portal.
