Violet Pool Control
Protects your pool's water balance — before problems start.
Bring your PoolDigital Violet or BADU Blue pool controller into Homey over the local network. See live water chemistry and temperatures, pump and equipment state, and dosing, and control the filter pump, light and PV-surplus mode.
An optional Langelier (LSI) water-balance safety net warns you before the water turns corrosive or scaling. All readings feed Homey Insights and Flow.
Alarm notifications (NOTIFY): the app can receive the Violet's alarm pushes and fire the "An alarm was received" Flow trigger. In the Violet's notification settings, set Homey's IP and the "Alarm listener port" from the device settings as receiver (any path, plain HTTP GET). Important: the Violet's regular web interface cannot change the receiver PORT - open http://<violet-ip>/modifyParameter.htm?NOTIFY_http_baseport in a browser (an undocumented parameter page with an input form), enter the listener port (default 22222) and save. Note: the Violet supports neither HTTPS nor authentication for NOTIFY, so any device on your LAN could send such a request — the trigger is display/automation data only and can never control the pool. Keep the port LAN-only; never port-forward it.

Fires when the Violet pushes an alarm via its NOTIFY feature (HTTP). In the Violet's notification settings, set Homey's IP and the listener port from this device's settings as receiver — any path works.

Fires when the backwash multiport (OMNI) valve reports a non-OK state.

Fires when a dosing channel hits its safety cap (chemistry stops being corrected).

What’s new
Version 0.7.3 — New: receive the Violet's alarm notifications (NOTIFY) directly - the 'An alarm was received' Flow trigger delivers error code and description; configurable listener port (default 22222), no extra apps needed. Fixed: all alarm Flow triggers (LSI warning, dosing blocked/low, overflow, backwash valve) now correctly fire Flows - please re-select the Pool device once in existing Flows using these cards.
