EmPower

EmPower connects Homey to dynamic energy signals such as live prices and local grid load. Use simple Flow cards to shift EV charging, heating and appliances to smarter, cheaper moments. For severe congestion, an optional Grid Emergency can temporarily switch off selected devices to help protect the grid. You decide which devices EmPower may control (critical devices can be excluded). The app uses homey:manager:api to read devices and run the automations you configure on Homey. If you join the EmPower pilot, your P1 smart-meter data is sent to the EmPower backend with your prior written consent to calculate advice, enable tariff-based automation and verify shifted usage. No other device data is shared externally.
