Mercedes-Benz for Homey bridges the gap between your car and your smart home. Instead of opening the Mercedes me app every time you want to check your battery level, lock the doors, or preheat the cabin, this app brings all of that into Homey where you can automate it. Set up a flow that preheats your car every weekday morning, get notified when charging completes, or automatically lock the doors when you leave home. Everything works with Homey flows, so your car becomes part of your smart home instead of a separate app on your phone.
The app connects to the Mercedes me API and supports a wide range of vehicle data and commands. You can monitor battery and fuel levels, tire pressure, oil level, AdBlue level, odometer, range, charging status, door and window states, sunroof position, location, heading, service intervals, and eco scores. For control, you can lock and unlock doors, start and stop the engine and climate, open and close windows and sunroof, flash lights, sound the horn, send navigation routes, configure departure times, set charging limits, and adjust seat heating and cabin temperature. Geofencing alerts let you know when your vehicle enters or leaves a zone, and theft detection triggers an alarm when unauthorized movement is detected.
A Mercedes me account is required. We recommend creating a dedicated account for Homey and inviting it to your vehicle to avoid session conflicts with the mobile app. Two-factor authentication is not supported and must be disabled on the account used for Homey. Some commands like unlocking and engine start require a security PIN configured through the Mercedes me mobile app. Vehicle support and available features vary by model, region, and equipment level. Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific regions are supported.
