A gas fireplace is one of the last things in the house that still needs someone to get up, find the handset, and press a button on it. This app puts yours into Homey instead, so the fire can be lit from your phone, from a wall switch, or by a Flow that has the room warm before you get home and settles it down again at bedtime. Homey learns your own handset when you add the fireplace, so it only ever speaks to your unit and never to a neighbour's. It keeps listening afterwards as well, so when someone adjusts the fire by hand Homey notices and stays in step rather than quietly holding a stale idea of what the fireplace is doing.
