“SlimLaden for Home & Car” is now also available as an app on your phone, iPad, Mac or Windows computer — at home and on the go. The app talks directly to your Homey: no account to create and no password to hand over. You pair it with a link or QR code from your own Homey.
SlimLaden builds a smart charging plan for your home battery, optionally together with your EV charger. Based on your consumption, solar production and dynamic prices, the app creates a charging plan so you get the most out of price differences. Or it creates a plan that maximizes your self-consumption.
The app learns from your consumption patterns and your battery's round-trip efficiency (RTE) to arrive at a better plan. There is also functionality for critical appliances that pause your battery, your profit is made visible, and you can check every day whether your forecast came true.

For cars or chargers whose app can only set the charging current with its own flow card (e.g. Tesla 'Set charge amps', Zaptec 'Set available current'). Choose 'via a flow card' as power setting in SlimLaden, and link this card to that of your car or charger. For a charger that switches between 1 and 3 phases itself, use 'Current phase 1/2/3': on one phase, phases 2 and 3 are 0. Fires at most once per half hour for a car app, once per minute for a charger, and only on a change of at least 1 A or a phase switch.
