Today, we’re introducing Climate Coaster. A feature so obvious in hindsight, we’re a little embarrassed it took this long.

For years, your Homey Pro has sat quietly on your desk, managing your lights, heating, and security while looking beautiful. Useful, sure. But we always felt it could do more.

One hub. Every beverage. No compromises.

Climate Coaster turns your Homey Pro into a smart drink coaster. Place your coffee on it, and the LED Ring glows red as Homey works to keep your drink at the perfect temperature. Reach for a cold beer instead, and it shifts to blue, maintaining that crisp, refreshing chill.

Beverage detection requires no setup and runs entirely locally. Homey Pro identifies your drink by weight, ambient temperature, and a new AI model trained on thousands of mugs, glasses, cans, and one very confused avocado.

Available soon

Climate Coaster will be available soon for all Homey Pro users. It will also work with the previous-generation Homey Pro — the ball-shaped one — but we cannot guarantee stability.
